Got this awesome album by Cassius few days back through
BitTorrent Bundles. Loss Leader Vol I is a slow burner which will definitely invade
your mind. Never heard of Cassius? Well, he penned down the amazing song by
Bruno Mars “Just the Way You Are” and won a Grammy for it. The Indie Hip Hop
artist defies the listener not to nod their head and tap a foot. The Lyrics are
amazing, They don’t describe emotions, they create emotions.
“A wise man once told me, being lost could be the right direction and how could you progress if you settle for perfection” –Freezin'
Cassius
brings with him a sound that’s truly rare and ultimately refreshing. My
favorites of the 11 track album are:
I listen to all kinds of music, but this album has got me
galvanized. Been hitting replay button for days now. Peculiarly not much of Cassius or Loss Leader
is known over the internet. Download “Loss Leader Vol.1” here
Bottomline: Loss Leader Vol.I is Super Dope, Cassius surely has a way to pierce your emotions with his lyrics
